Living drawing 1, the large work was painted outside on the deck at Mahina Bay. I painted it under the stars, in the dark, and in the sun. Walking through the bush, up the back and down through Golans Valley, is what the paintings are about.
My father, Alan Bagnall, carved the moons. Our connection is other worldliness, the spirit that live in the trees. The bones Alan carved were found washed up on the beach at Waikawa.
