In March 2026, Jenny Keate went on a seven-day painting expedition led by Australian landscape artist Idris Murphy. The location was Flinders Island, northeast of Tasmania. These paintings were done on location over the course of that week. Challenges included strong winds, biting March flies, and curious chickens. Jenny acknowledges the palawa/pakana people as the traditional custodians of Flinders Island and the surrounding waters of tayaritja.
